A round of The Initials Game Live runs about 20-25 minutes, with prizes awarded at the end of each round. A full game consists of three rounds. With breaks between rounds, a standard game is roughly 90 minutes.

The winner of each round receives a gift card to the host venue valued at $15-20. Venues often provide other consolation prizes that can be awarded at random by our hosts (for things like "highest-scoring individual answer in a round" or "player has the same initials as this round" or "best team name").

For the best playing experience, we recommend a microphone for the host and a way for them to connect their device to your sound system to allow for the in-game sound effects. But in the case that isn't feasibly, we have PAs available to rent.

We do! Hosts are our employees or contractors, receiving training and thorough support. Venues provide the space and the prizes. (But if you have a charismatic staffer who wants to rock the mic, we’ll train them and give you a discount for running games yourself.)

Our Editorial staff – made entirely of real, live humans! – regularly adds new items to our large catalog of content. We keep things original, engaging, creative, and gettable! Our proprietary web app looks at who is playing each game, so players don’t get repeat content, ensuring that it’s always fresh and fun for the night.
